Mobile Mechanics& Recovery · We come to youFault finding at your location
Fault-code scanning and practical vehicle checks at your home, workplace or a safe roadside location across Hull and East Yorkshire.
Local help at your location
Good diagnosis is more than reading a code. We combine scan results with the symptoms you report and suitable practical checks, then explain the likely cause and sensible next step before parts are replaced.
JA Mobile Mechanics & Recovery operates from a Hull base and travels to customers. There are no walk-in customer facilities at the operating base; contact us first so we can confirm coverage, availability and the safest next step.
How we can help
Every vehicle and location is assessed first so the work can be completed safely and correctly.
Read stored codes and assess relevant symptoms before recommending the next step.
Initial checks for flat batteries, poor charging and common non-starting issues.
Scan supported safety systems and explain recorded faults that need further attention.
Use the fault history, symptoms and available data to narrow down the likely cause.
Coverage
Send your postcode and we will confirm current call-out coverage. Larger work can be recovered to our separate, appointment-based Withernsea workshop when an on-site repair is unsuitable.
Useful answers
Not always. A code identifies the system that detected a problem, but practical checks may still be needed before recommending a repair.
Yes, subject to location and access. Initial checks can cover battery, charging and starting systems as well as relevant fault codes.
We can read and assess fault codes. A warning light should only be cleared after the cause has been understood and any required repair completed.
Send the registration, postcode, warning-light photos, when the fault happens, recent repairs and whether the vehicle can still be driven safely.
